f70 f75 frount leaf springs

just looked up the front springs in the workshop manual it would seem to me that on a right hand drive model the right hand spring is slightly stronger can anyone conferm this i have a problem with parabolic springs thanks for any help

The RHD F7x models with leaves all round have a tendancy to sag on the RHS. My belief is that its due to the weight of the battery, offset transfer case, and driver all being on that side. So yes, they RHF leaf is set a bit higher to compensate. A good set of replacement leaves will differentiate the 2 front springs. I guess on LHD models, the driver being on the opposite side lessens the problem somewhat.

F70 F75 leaf springs sag to right hand side

hi

thank you for your comment thats what i beleave the parabolic springs are from HST netherlands they drive on the right hand side off the road and will counter this problem any one else any comments
