Hello all,
I am from Adelaide Australia. This is my first post. This
site is the only Charade/"Hatty" site around, and it looks
pretty good, so a big thank you to everybody on that point.
Getting technical data and parts for my car is bloody hard.
For the past 2 months, I have been trying to get rear brake
shoes. All I get are incompatable brake shoes that are
claimed to be for my car.
I have given up trying to buy them locally. It would be
easier swimming over to Japan and asking them... Apparently
(so I am told), Daihatsu were really dodgy in the factory
and it was practice for them to deviate from the design. I
am thinking that this may have been the case with my car.
Is there a supplier that has a clue with Hatty's 
My rear brake shoe profile is:
Diameter: 180mm
Width: 27mm

have you tried the Daihard forum, its Aus based and surely someone could find you some shoes closer to home??
