FAO 2003 on Charade owners.

If you are looking for new tyres I have a recommendation.

I recently changed out the front tyres on my Charade 1.0 EL and went for Vredestein T-Trac Si's. I got them ordered and fitted by etyres.com.

The front end grip is a huge improvement. Obviously the car still understeers but you have much more confidence that the front end isn't going to let go on the 1st wet roundabout.

If you are wary, Vredestein are a Dutch company in the mid-sector (better than budget tyres IMO).
