They are pretty much extinct (I would reckon less than 10 still with road tax in UK), but I have one. Unfortunately it isn't for sale - I too wanted one for absolutely ages and eventually got it from an old member off here! It is currently undergoing some sort of restoration.

The only thing I can suggest is to set up a search on eBay for Daihatsu Charmant and leave it running forever until one appears, though the last actual car for sale was something like 9 months ago now. Unfortunately I didn't have the cash on me at the time, shame because it was an LGX too.
