I have had my Yrv for a 1 1/2 years and it is great car but i just wanted to see if there were any other owners.I live in Bracknell Berkshire

They're out there somewhere!!

Also had my Turbo 18 months and well happy with it.

Had never seen another Turbo until last week, when on the way to the nearest dealers, i pulled up at the lights behind another 04 Silver one - supplied by that same dealers!!

I've got one too!

Had it since it was about 6 months old ('03 plate), it was an ex Daihatsu fleet car.

It's now done 41500 miles and is still going strong!

I chav'd it up recently by painting the calipers red!:blush:

Only seen another one,(in Yellow), it was at my dealers in Ayrshire, same time as mine and also for an front section of the exhaust!

My next mod will be a custom stainless exhaust from the cat back, as the standard turbo exhaust seems to be made of wet paper!

I've got one too! Bought it last August from Daihatsu garage in Essex well worth the flight from Edinburgh. Had only done 7500, 85 year old man previous owner. Got 3 year warrenty as well all for £5000 bargain!!! Have fitted Blitz filter "Whooosh" and Turbo guage, fantastic little car shame bout the stupid gears but hey!

Counting I think there are about 5 or 6 YRV Turbo owners on the site who are members and actively said they drive a YRV Turbo. However the number of members usually is a very small number compared to the number of people who visit and look at the site.

I am on my second YRV Turbo an 04 plate silver one. My first one was a nice 52 plate yellow one until a lorry driver hit it and wrote it off.
I know of 3 turbos in the city where I live and also am just about to buy a set of wheels off a guy who had 2, a black one for him and a yellow one for his wife!

Hey there, mines the white one up in the 'IMAGE GALLERIES' section!

Havent had it long but I give it the full throttle during wet weather or corners and hardly any traction loss at all (takes maybe a second or two for the rear wheels to gain grip), I've driven the FWD's before buying this one, and yeah they slip big time on corners!
