please can anybody help
on my c reg fourtrack deisel, is the clutch cable adjusable or do i need new, as it is awkward getting 1st gear,pedal has to go to floor and with a bit of grind she goes in,all other forward gears not a problem,clutch does not slip???

Lift the bonnet, hood, whatev
Lift the bonnet, hood, whatever it is you call the front panel. Look to the left of the motor, up high on the firewall (Baulkhead), to the right of the brake master cylinder and booster. You should see the clutch cable coming out from the cabin. There is a C clip that clips into a number of grooves on the cable outer housing. Remove the clip with a pair of pliers, Dont drop it, and pull the outer cable forward. Replace the clip on the cable outer, in the groove that is closest to the firewall. Not a big deal to do. If you run out of grooves on the outer, probably time for a new cable, which in itself isnt a big deal to change.
