Forum:

Hi
me again, ive solved my over heating probs fitted a switch for the fan an expantion tank from an Orion and a fiesta radiator put into the cooling circuit placed infront of the lower pulley and managed to get a fan bolted on to the pulley when I get a digital camera I will post some pics, it took a couple of weekends of tinkering but solved the problem.

Now todays crisis, I reversed into my drive she was running fine didnt run her for a couple of days but loaded up the back end with all the crap from the garden. Sunday morning went to go to the tip turned the key and the bitch wouldnt start!
the engine turns over fine but wasnt getting any fuel so obviously wouldnt start, ive done the filters both the big one and the one on the back of the little pump both were full of rubbish including bits of grass!! I have cleaned the whole fuel system as best I can and the problem im having is that I cant seem to get fuel to bleed up.

Is there a special way to bleed these?
has anyone suffered the same problem?
anyone got any ideas how to get the damn thing to bleed up?

thanks ......Mike

Bitch

NEVER !!!!!!! call your wheels a 'BITCH' , she's female as you referred to 'she' and so deserves a name ( if only what the manufactures designated) and respect. No matter what problem is causing her to be a little awkward.

lombarbini spelt basta.......

I seem to have a problem where the fuel is syphoning back or dissapearing as after getting her running ok I left her on the drive for a few (5)hours nose up (on a slope with the rear lower than the front) could it be syphoning back? I took the filter cover off the fuel pump and it was bone dry where the hell is the fuel going Unknw evaporating in the hot weather?
please can any one help me im getting really desperate now
cheers MikeG
