What a gross looking car. Daihatsu now appear to concentrate on producing ghastly styled cars similar to the original old fashioned styles that the UK was inflicted with back when imports were first commenced. This and most of the current range is no exception. Why can't they produce a good 4x4 range again, robust, reliable and pleasant to the eye. Built to do the job not to please the politicians in their tax fraud of so called global warming.
With the UK supposidly basking in Medeterranian weather because of global warming and in reality almost drowned..why...GLOBAL WARMING, play a new record please!!!!. Global Bulls**t
Sorry , for once not very constructive and relevant to the site, but it does make me mad as does the habit of building on flood plains and then being surprised when poor peoples homes are innundated!! with sewerage, shame on the Government and shame on the Local Planning Authorities...

First looks remind me of a POT BELLIED PIG!!!
Look what they have done to the Charade, from the curvy G100 to todays Kiddies ride style thing. Proof of this is my 5 year old son liked it alot when at the dealers recently.
Daihatsu's like of short, narrow wheel base designs fit well in the road crowded areas of Japan but never fail to raise an eyebrow here in the west.
When i first set eyes on the YRV Turbo, i thought it was sporty, different, unusual, strange, curvy, a mutant?????
I love it!! A different car depending on the angle of view, its great to be different.
Its obvious Daihatsu wants the green image and leaving the need for big engines behind.
Big brother Toyota will cater for this.
DAIHATSU - BRING BACK THE CHARADE GTTI OR AT LEAST STICK THE UNEQUALLED CB80 ENGINE IN SOMETHING, A SURE WINNER!!!!
