Dear All,
I recently bought a 1991 Diahatsu Diesel Turbo 1.0 and shortly afterwards found the Rear Lights and Rev Counter had stopped working, and hasn't now for a few months.
I've also noticed the dashboard lights don't come on when I switch the headlights on either to position 1 or 2. The rear lights don't come on unless breaking and am now concerned for my safety! The front side lights also don't come on when the control arm is in position 1 or 2, but the headlamps do work on position 2 as you'd expect.

I wonder if it could be a relay, and have been told about "dry joints". I'm happy to have a go at fixing it if someone can point me in th right direction and tell me how to find and test the suspect parts.
