Heard of a worrying trend in and around the Nottingham/Derby/Leicester areas, many 4X4's are having parts robbed off them during the night.
Parts are mainly wheels and tyres, easily removed body panels interior trim and fixings, and in extreme cases are having complete engines/transmissions, and axles removed.

Ensure your vehicle is alarmed, and has locking wheel nuts fitted, park in well lit and secure locations, and if you work shifts, nights, walk out to your vehicle during breaks.

Many of the parts are not turning up in the usual places such as car boot's, free ads papers, etc, it is now being assumed that these parts are being stolen to order for export, or for hoarding, and later sale.

Fourtrak parts are increasingly in demand, engines, transmissions, axles, interior trim, body panels, and wheels are getting harder, and more expensive to purchase new.

Be vigilant, and report any suspicious activity to the Police, and inform this site of thefts, we can all then monitor these activities, and hopefully, a pattern will emerge.
