Hi,
I'm looking for a driver side short halfshaft to fit a F50. Its basically the same dimensions as later models, but at some point in time the specification changed from 29 splines on the diff end (mine) to 30 splines. Try as I have done, the 30 won't fit!! hence discovering the extra spline.
If anyone can help me with another halfshaft I'd be most grateful

I may have one but I'll have to empty my shed to get it to check the spline count. Bump your post back up the forum in a few days if I haven't replied. Just to be clear, you need 29 splines on both ends, and its the short (off side) front one you want?

Don't know how many splines are on the hub end, though they are the same through out the years. Its the diff end with a count of 29 splines please.

If you can't find one, and
If you can't find one, and asuming from your post you have a later shaft, it should be possible to split the shafts at the CV? Got to be worth a try?
