YRV TURBO attention points

Forum:

Hi all,

I own a 2005 red YRV Turbo in the Netherlands that has covered 38.000 km. 2nd owner. It's still in its 3 year warranty period, so no hassle expected (yet) when something should break down.
I love this car, great fun and it has a touch of exclusiveness.
I want to fit non original 15" wheels with 195 (winter) tires, but it seems that these will not fit without distance rings/spacers. That's what I read on other related topics. However, I think the wheel nut studs will become too short when fitting just spaces with holes. Is this correct?
Can I re-route the brake lines easily to make the wheels fit without the spacers?:help:

Any special things that I need to watch out for - besides speeding tickets - when enjoying the YRV Turbo? Brake disks were already replaced at 30K km.
Any recommended modifications? Turbo pressure gauge? Wider tires on stock alloys?

Thanks for your contribution and glad that I found a nice site on the Internet. YRV service manual on CD-ROM arrived promptly, by the way.

Kindest regards
