I was wondering f anyone can help, before I put my Daihatsu fourtrak on the road, is it better to put the full cambelt kit on, or just the belt.

Put on the whole kit to be safe, have heard that the edge of the belt can wear if you dont apparently.
Full of ideas but no time to do them!!
