Having just fitted my Blitz exhaust and was amazed by the instant power increase. However the car now rattles due to the fact the exhaust sits on the roll bar under the engine. any one had this problem

What sound and extra power do you get?

Can't help you with the problem you describe. But I am interested in changing the standard exhaust for one of these.
After having the exhaust fitted. Do you get a gruntier sound from the exhaust? If so is it really loud? And also when you say you get more power, is this the case? Does the Exhause come with a new catalytic converter? Or is your car now with out any cats?
Sorry for all the questions. Just interested. Hope you get your problem sorted.

Blitz exhaust YRV Turbo
Hi,
problems all sorted, nothing major just a few tweeks. It's a louder sound more like a purr just enough. Acceleration alot faster with new exhaust, noticed as soon as i touched the pedal. The cat is stuck to the engine so no need to worry about it.

Blitz exhaust
Hi i got mine on a rare find on ebay was only a few months old. you can get them form a few places edworthys is a company i have used in the past and were very reliable. Unfortunately i'm having problems since fitting the exhaust. As soon as i hit 5000 revs car starts jumping until i take my foot of the pedal. I put the standard exhaust back on and there is no problem. I have contacted Blitz and they assure me it's not the exhaust. hmmmm i think it is!!!!

Sounds like the ECU is picking up on the reduced back pressure? I guess maybe the ECU has to get used to it being driven normaly to settle, bet you thrashed it to see what it sounded like before it could!!!

Blitz Exhaust
Yeah you got to try these things out when you put a new toy in the car
I have been driving at normal speeds for a whole week now, have resorted to using manual and changing up at 5000 revs. Blitz still say it won't affect ECU i'm wondering if the exhaust is made for the 4x4 turbo as i had to do a little modifiyng to make it fit. Luckily i have access to a full workshop but frustrates me more just not having the answers. Would be so much easier if you colud just plug a laptop in and change the gear change settings. if only

Still looking into getting one of these for my car, but reading your problem with the rev issues. I wasn't aware that you had to drive the car for normal speeds when having one of these fitted.
