i had my beloved fourtrak in the my workshop all jacked up and waiting the the final weld to be done on the chassis, when i came across an idea!

a light bar on the roof, done before many times i am sure but a new one for my truck,

so i popped off the sunroof, (2 screws). cut off the old hinge plates and attacked a bit of 1 inch box with the grinder and welder, 30 minutes later i had build the bar and it was fitted,

costs involved, 4ft of spare box, 2 welding rods, 1 spray can of paint, 30 mins of time.

then of course so proud of building the bar for under £4.00 i spent £50.00 on spot lights.

but still pretty good mod for £4.00

will slap a photo on when it gets back from mot (providing of course i can afford the electricity to power up the com after paying the mot bill)
