Hello again

Took our fourtrak out for a good run yesterday, & was dismayed that "'er indoors" said she couldn't recall it "being this bumpy & uncomfortable".
I went to great lengths to explain the intrinsic charm of the leaf spring's "tractor-like" ride quality, but this fell upon deaf ears.
My question to all those in the know is, can one perform said conversion (see title) without turning my beautifully retro fourtrak into some hideous hairdresser's car-from-hell?
