so if any once could help much apricialted!

thanks you v much henry

Have seen a spring over axle

Have seen a spring over axle conversion, as opposed to axle over spring as standard!!!
But i think you have to turn everything upside down, and lengthen the rear brake pipes!!

Mud makes excellent Toothpaste.

lift

There is loads and loads of stuff on this forum and pictures about lifting daihatsus, the suspension on them is limited because they are not designed for extreme artic, you cant put in longer shocks in the centres on cross member at an angle like you can suzukis etc, what ive got is a mate called dave his handle is dogsboss on this site and he is the founder of red blood off road, he will make anything shackle wise and other off the shelf stuff for fourtracks and he does a good job, hes the only person that i know of in england that has a company interested in mods on fourtraks!!, ive got his standard e bay set of two inch longer shackles but they are eighty odd quid but welll worth it, very solid and much better than oe stuff, also using pro comp leaf springs very good too, you wil need longer shocks cos the tracks standard ones are short, remember if you make really long shackles make them solid and welded together for strength. Also big 33, 35" tyres are the way to go cos of the diffs, there isnt much that my truck doesnt cope with now except deep ruts which is really annoying!!! Smile

Full of ideas but no time to do them!!

2"shackles.

Hi, thanks for the kind recommendation Neil. My company is now registered and trading and the website is being sorted at the moment, there is a holding page up at present at www.bloodredoffroad.com. I have an ad going in Total Off Road in either the the March or April issue and hope to have a credit card facility in place by then. I will be at the Offroad show in feb but not on a stand, however I am trying to secure some trade accounts in order to carry and supply some other products alongside my own, tyres, polybush sets, springs etc.
I seem to have no time for anything at the mo working full time and trying to set up the company but I am cutting my hours at work next month in order to dedicate more time to new stuff I want to make and will be posting it up on the website as soon as I get chance.
I have my shackles listed again on Ebay at the moment, they are item No. 270204002238 . I know they are a lot more expensive than some of the suzuki kits on there but they are not made from 5mm flat bar, I now have the plates laser cut from 10mm thick steel plate and precision bent and drilled, the box section braces I cut and weld in myself and custom lengths I still make completely by hand.
all the best,
Dave.
