Hello,
I have a 51 plate Terios and the engine light is on constantly on the dash, what does this mean 
Have rang dealer and they tell me it needs to go on diagnostic machine to let them know the fault, any list of fault codes would be helpful so the dealer doesn't rip me off.

You can buy the diagnostic readers fairly cheaply from e-bay for around £50, but if your Terios is running ok with the light on on the dash, it is likely to be the Lamda (or O2) sensor in the exhaust manifold.
Does the car smell of petrol when cold starting?
