Heater Switch Resistor WHERE ARE YOU???

Dave H (with a sporty) thanks mate you told me where they were, and you were RIGHT they had blown, you again (thanks)as to what i should replace them with...but heres the bad bit, where on earth do i get them from, (I'm from Kent) i have tried MAPLIN/BREAKERS/RADIO TV SHACKS/DAIHATSU DEALERS (they tell me i need a part number DOH! thats their job aint it?)
I have even tried the library....NOTHING no-one it seems can help...(& its getting colder down here)
anyone direct me please??

Maplin WILL stock them - you do not need a part no., nor do you have to tell them what it's for - that'll only confuse them. Then they'll try and fob you off with something dearer and no better.

Why not try a specialist electrical component shop as well, perhaps someone who does spares and repairs. You are just looking for simple WIRE WOUND resistors of the values given on that thread. Just go to the parts desk.

If you have any probs, send me a PM, and I'll pick some up for you. Worthingtons of Newcastle-under-Lyme are the best bet for anyone in this area with this problem.
