I was wondering if anyone knew if there was a way to get an F20 in the colonies? Mabye to ship one over, or find one out here. I have a 1990 Rocky, and would much like to have an F20. Thanks.
I have seen the odd F20 for sale over in the USA, but they do seem to carry a rather high price! I am sure you are aware of the names of the F20, you have the Scat or the taft, depending in which country it was released in.
they are cery hardy vehicles for the age and set up, mine just does not seem to break with all my in-experiance in 4x4ing it just keeps going! I love it soo.
I managed to snap both rear springs clean off my F20 (Beatsey) on trial section. Revesed into a tree (rather forcfully) and hit shackles first. Shackel tried to swing forward, had nowhere to go, so snaped eye right off front end of spring. No idea how the other one went. Just felt left out I guess. Still drove back to the car park though, with the wheel archs sitting straight on top of the tyres... Sertainly made getting it back on the trailer fun!!! Was crabbing quit well.
Any veiws expresed in this thread by me are purely from my own experience, and (sometimes) falible memory. Hope my comments help, but please don't take them as gospel.
