Hi All,
Noticed my turbo is pretty poor on the old fuel consumption, and can roughly get 200miles to a full tank of fuel. Although I don't drive like Miss daisy , I do on occassion put my foot down.
Can you tell me what your fuel consumption is like?
Cheers,
Jon.
When I had mine it varied
When I had mine it varied between 30 and 34.
Considering my Golf VR6 with a 2.8 engine gets the same it is not good for a 1300.
i get around that and i
i get around that and i seems quite differcult to fill the tank full
Re; YRV Turbo fuel consumption
Hi Jon
If I'm sensible I get around 40 - 42 mpg, more on a run.
It drops to the low 30's if I drive it quickly!
Remember the YRV has a small fuel tank and a pessemistic fuel guage!
Thanks All.....
Thanks all, thought I'd had a fuel leak somewhere , even though I've had my YRV for roughly 4 months now it does vary now and again. So I'll put it down to the fuel gauge. Currently running mine on Shell V-Power (99 - RON), so I guess it will be the same on the Stanard 95-RON stuff.

I get around 260 per tank but then again i take it right past and off the red, costs me around £37 to fill it up at £1.01 a litre. My last 1.3 car managed 360 mils per tank.

Hi Kosovokid,
I got your private mail by the way.......thanks for letting me know.
Filling up I find is a bit of an art. On the scooby for example I have to have the nozzle at a 45 degree angle to pump the petrol properly. I find with the YRV I have to have the nozzle half way in to get a decent pump through, yet I fill righ to the level and find the fuel consumption to be the same. By the way how many miles do you get from quarter to empty? I seem to get to the 160mile covered mark at a quarter of a tank.
