hello, i am new to the forum and i am picking up a Terios 1.3 which was first registered in 1999. it has 83k on the clock, a fsh and alloy wheels. the cam belt was changed at 54k. it will be my first Daihatsu and first 4wd machine.
it will have a full MOT when i collect it at the end of the month, at a cost of £1000 from a dealer whom i trust.
if there are any tips or things to look out for with this vehicle, or anything an owner should keep in mind, i would be happy to hear from anyone who knows.
i have had a quick look at various threads, and there seems to be a genuine fondness and respect for Daihatsus.
I hope to enjoy my little 4wd, which will be for short journeys and very light and occasional green-laning.
NB there seems to be a lack of servicing info. and the manual (here on site) only covers 2000+ cars, which is a pity as i hope to undertake routine maintenance myself. any comments?
