TUNING A CUORE - FOR A NEWBIE!!!

I've just bought a 1998 DAIHATSU CUORE Avanzato TR-XX R4 3dr Hatchback - yet I need some help on tuning. I need some tips on how to get more BHP out the engine. I would appreciate all your comments.

In the same position with my YRV turbo130. Been looking on the internet and the only tuners you can find are based out in Japan. Have you had a look at the D-sport website? Again mostly in japanese, but they have some nice tuned examples: http://www.dsport-web.com/

Your best bet is to contact tim @ japaneazi car parts to see if he can put you in the right direction; http://www.japaneazicarparts.co.uk/

Only other place I've noticed that do some sort of tuning are based down in South Wales, yet it looks as though it's for those who love chavved out vehicles Biggrin

The place in South Wales is called Osaka Autodesign and they only 'chavved-out' the YRV for a 16 yr old boy to take to various audio shows not to drive around. They helped me find some decent tuning bits for my own- now sold- YRV including a Blitz nur spec exhaust. They have their own website so it might be worth checking it out.
Also for the avanzato try www.sumopower.com if you have a lot of spare cash!!
And www.camskill.co.uk are pretty good as one of the guys who worked there used to have one himself.
I've got an import avanzato 4cyl 2wd, all i've put on it is a dump valve and induction kit and boost gauge.

basic mod :air filter,exhaust n upboost a bit.
2nd stage :bigger injector ,bigger turbo ,bigger intercooler ,exedy semi racing cluctch plate, safc or emanage to tune the oil pump into the engine.
extreme mod :high cam ,bigger piston , bigger throttle body n all the above.
