hi my 2.8 turbo diesel four trak is a bit of a poor starter it does start but takes me around 5mins i have just put new glow plugs in and it is still the same with choke or with out choke! does any one else seem to have similer problems?

You need to check that there is actually power reaching the glowplugs (check with a voltmeter) - should be more than 10v.

er!!!!!! choke ???? on a diesel ???, What are you calling the 'choke button/knob ??. Are you mistaking the the hand throttle adjuster /knob ???.
So she spins over for 5 mins before starting, check for a corroded fuel line. A pin hole leak allowing fuel to return to tank,air ingress. Resulting in fuel pump having to self bleed till fuel arrives at injectors. Had this prob on purchase of my Fourtrak. Problem is more apparent when left overnight, ie- time for fuel to leak back.
