My 1990 2.8 f75 needs quite a bit of welding doing to it and i think its gonna cost me a bit, i dont know how to weld. its in good nic apart from underneath, engine and gearbox are smooth as anything, never let me down once. The question im asking is how much to sell it or shall i sell it for spares cheers stevo

If you have time, resources sell it in dribs and drabs for spares, you wont get bog all for it as a whole vehicle - doesnt make sense but its the truth, the engine is worth a bit as land rover owners source them too - cos we all know what land rover engines are like ha ha, rust is a real pig with these great vehicles, ive just waxoyled mine again.

just had it mot'd and yes it failed on the welding but its only gonna cost 48 quid for the mot and 100 quid for the welding and a few beers down the local for my mate who's doin it at mates rates. Got pulled by the fuzz on my way home for bein on my phone, got let off but they checked the car out lucky i had a month mot left on the last one ha ha dint see i had no number plate on the front tho, must have been on his way back to the cop shop to knock off. cheers guys, long live offroading.
Break or Repair
Two options; local colleges do basic welding courses as night classes, many are relatively cheap, and pay for themselves in the long term. MIG welders (130 amp) are cheap these days, also; you can then repair the vehicle, or get someone to weld it for you.
Break the vehicle and sell the bits, engines are sought after, as are gearboxes, transfer cases, axles, and much of the interior trim if it is in good condition.
eBay might be a good bet
If you don't have space or time to break it yourself a spares or repairs fourtrak listed on eBay will fetch about £200, selling to either someone wanting spares for theirs or a cheap off-roader that doesn't need to be road legal.
