Hi Folks, After months of carb problems on my 1990 sportrak i finally bit the bullet and fitted a brand new carb. When the engine is cold it starts fine and revs are around 1500rpm.When at normal temp i cant get the engine to idle below 1250-1300rpm the idle adjustment screw can be backed right off and does not lower rpm. I have checked that the choke is going right off and all the vacuum pipes etc appear to be where they should be.(This idling problem was the same with other carb but the autochoke etc was knackered on it and would not come off fully Hence i only got around 160 miles to a tank of fuel).Any suggestions from you kind people would be appreciated before i have to put it into a Daihatsu garage to get sorted.
