I dont know if anyone can help me with my Fourtrak.Its a 1996 2.8tdx about 18 months ago i had a problem with the gearbox and basically had to get a re/con box fitted the only trouble is when i got it back the guy at the garage said that the electric connecters on the new box didnt match up,so although the gearbox works ok when i try to select 4 wheel drive on the dashboard switch nothing happens any input would be greatly appreciated .I also have a problem with the immobiliser sometimes when you turn the key nothing happens the engine doesnt turn over you then take the key out put it back in turn it over and the engine starts,is there any way i can bypass the immobiliser
