What was he driving?

"4x4 that has the ability to inspire confidence in everyday car drivers, with little body roll, accurate poise and steering"

What was he driving?

Although they have many virtues, those 3 ain't high on the list! It's road manners are generally dire.

He did say he previously owned a suzuki SJ413, so pretty much anything would seem luxury after that!!

To be fair, body roll isnt that bad on them, not by 4x4 standards anyway (comparing to 4x4s of a similar age, not todays X5's, Range Rovers, Mercs, etc!!). I find my sporty very nippy, and as long as its dry and hasnt been raining you can throw it round corners and it goes where you want. plus i find it has enough get-up-and-go for motorway overtaking (especially compared to the 1.2 Corsa I used to drive, which had probably more body roll)!!

Not sure i'd go as far as saying it "has the ability to inspire confidence in everyday car drivers" tho!
