Hijets in ireland

Hi
As of last week there is another hijet in ireland but its about as far away from you as its possible to get, down south. I think its the same colour as yours 1999 but with a genuine thirteen thousand miles on the clock.
thanks for putting up the photos, you did a great job, I showed them to the kids and they reckoned they looked cool. They even said that they would get into the van if I did something like yours.
would you have any info about Co2 emissions on the 1.3Efi
I need some official figures to get the van reregistered.
Regards
Mike

Co2

Wow finally!!

Someone else on this island has a Hi-Jet!!

Mike, I put something in the post to you yesterday. It's all I have and it's incomplete because it's all I could scrounge up. I haven't actually looked to see if the Co2 figures are in it.

I'm headin back to Canada on Sunday to see my folks, so I won't be on here for awhile.

keep in contact though!

if you're kids like those pictures, wait till you see the wheels I just got. a nightmare getting them, but they finally arrived yesterday!

Hijet

fantastic any info is appreciated. Im looking forward to seeing the wheel pics.
I have a bit of work to do on mine before it goes on the road. The reason the miles are so low is that it was owned from new by a guy with a wheel chair and he only used it a couple of times a week. It even has an excellent wheelchair lift in the back which I will be taking out over the next couple of weeks. I will need to source a couple of seats then as mine has only the two front and one in the back.
My main problem is to get the emission figures so I can get on the road with the new reg.
If you want to post those manual extracts my details are Mike Hannon,Luachra Road, Clieveragh, Listowel Co. Kerry.can you stick your return details in as well as I would like to send you something for these.
Hope you have agreat time in canada, there was a program on about immegration to canada about three weeks ago, it seems that they are really looking for people to relocate there as there are going to be shortages over the coming years in a lot of the trades areas. You might get tempted, anybody i know that has been there has said it would be a fabulous place to live.
Thanks
Mike

Hi welcome back from Canada,

Hi
welcome back from Canada, hope u had a good break.
I was looking at your pics yesterday, i didnt realise u were into the kayak scene until I saw your gear on top of the Jet.
thats one of the reasons I bought my baby, i'm trying to get my two kids into a bit of kayaking and surfing. I loved that whole scene until it kinda gave me up about 10 years ago. There are some nice rivers around Kerry plus reasonable surfing at Ballybunion when conditions are right. I had a big clear out a while back and sold my gear, of course im sorry now. Im still not on the road yet, still scratching around for my Co2 figures but hopefully in the next couple of weeks. I put up an appeal for anyone with a Hijet newer than 2001 when the new tax rules came in, i was told that the Co2 figure should be on the vehicle reg documentation, if this is the case it would solve my problem

Hi policychecker,

Sorry, I don't know where else to get some seats for you, other than somewhere over in England. There are some good wreckers over there.

See the pic of Mikes Hi-Jet. There's a guy on there offering to sell a set of back seats.
