Forum:

G'day All,
I am new to this forum and am the proud owner of a Feroza2 SX???? I am not sure what that equates to in terms of the 4x4's on this forum. I would like to know so I can keep an eye on the specific discussions...

Hello mate, Your's being a

Hello mate,

Your's being a Feroza II SX model is also known as the wide track model. Mechanically the same as a narrow track Feroza or Sportrak (UK), but with wider axles giving a wider wheel track.
Yours will have bigger arch flares when compared to a narrow track and different width rear leaf springs.
I'm guessing from the G'day intro that you're in Oz. Have you seen the outerlimits4x4 board yet? Lots of info and FAQs about Daihatsu's on there. In Oz I think the wide track models are more sought after than narrows (you lucky sod), over here in the UK we didn't get the choice.
Happy wheelin' - see you on outerlimits4x4 if you sign up, I'm known as Pommie B*stard on there.
Welcome to the forums. Smile
