Fourtrack 2.8 turbo diesel whistling.

Well as subject really when driving the fourtrack whistles does anyone know of a common problem that would cuase this?

Is the exhaust knackered? If the silencer is not doing it's job (for whatever reasion), you will get exsecive terbo wine. You wont get engine raw, as the terbo does a good job of silencing that it self.

Any veiws expresed in this thread by me are purely from my own experience, and (sometimes) falible memory. Hope my comments help, but please don't take them as gospel.
