hi, just had an f78, it is fitted with fully auto hubs, thay are not working jack car all turns in 4 wd, removed hubs all free can lock them on bench, dose eny one now if the washer that sits on drive shaft, is it ment to have to lugs on as that is the only way how i can see that it works to engage when shaft turs as mine is like a flat washer.thanks, hope some one can help me out,

Hub
The hub washer is a pressed disc with sides on it, this has a cut out or a slot in part of the side, the "c" shaped spring has twwo arms sticking out, these locate in the washer slot to centralise the hub assembly when the hub is static.
