A german company called offrotec or something make vacuum operated diff locks for the daihatsu axles but there worth more than the vehicle if you can get them, buy a good winch and superb gripping tyres instead....
Full of ideas but no time to do them!!

Lockers
Locking diffs are manufactured by several companies, but are prohibitively expensive, all are hand built to a specific requirement. Most of these companies will supply then for your vehicle, particularly as the axles are originally Toyota axles.
