The motor drives a gearbox which is directly connected to the window rack, no cables, just the quadrant.
Obviously an ex Land Rover owner.

Thxs assassin, I'm very pleased to read that as i have my eye on a rather nice TDX.
Not an LR (I hate the things, & for many reasons!), but a Nissan from some years ago. Good car, but the window ended up supported by a block of wood when I looked at the job of sorting the broken cable .... a round the houses open wire job.
