I'd sign up to be a member of an owner's club. Don't have the technical knowledge to start one though.

i'd sign up.
sadly this site lacks one thing.. speed of replies! snail pace.
i am already a member of HiJet group on Facebook and it seems to be the same there too. signed up to a mini-truck site that covers hijet and far quicker replies to questions.

web sites are easy to set up, yahoo groups, facebook group, myspace, some ISPs give you free web space to host what ever you want. there are some ready available ways to join like minded people together.

1) get a name for the group.
2) find a home.. online or location
3) invite as many people as you can to join up.
4) arrange regional meet ups/weekends.
5) eventually arrange fund raisers for the club funds or charities.

benefits of owners groups
cheaper insurance but only if you pre-arrange it with various companies.
ask spares companies if they want to offer discounts for your members.
get some stickers made up with your logo/group name and sell them to help cover your costs... trust me there will be costs! i run a motorcycle club all on my own for the last 7years.

there is a lot to look at before you start off, but worth it.
