YRV turbo air filter

Having problems finding an air filter(panel or cone)for my turbo,blitz sent me a panel but after a 3 month wait sent the wrong one it was for a K3-VE and dont do one for the turbo which i find bizzare....demon tweeks could`nt match one up either from there stock due to the neak size,,can anyone help as i feel i`m hitting a brick wall were ever i try .....

Didn't think a Blitz stainless cone would cost over £200 but it's been a while. I would try these guys: www.potn.co.uk they are currently selling their modified YRV turbo on Pistonheads for over the price of one you can buy these days Scratch one-s head . They should be able to help on a panel/cheaper induction set-up for your car. Failing that give Tim @ Japaneazi.co.uk a shout and he may be able to put you in the right place. Me personnaly am running a Blitz stainless set-up on my YRV turbo, you do get a nice induction sounds off it which after a while you either love or hate Wink Also the Scangauge II shows mixed IA temps (low = 10, high = 50+ degrees), not sure if this is measuring the Inlet air from the induction or the inlet air of the turbo intercooler.

I have a Sports panel filter for my turbo which I bought from a member here off ebay, Daihatsu Dave. IIRC.

Dave told me who made it, it doesn't say on the filter, but I think it was made by one of the well known filter makers! If I find out more I'll let you know! Blush

Thanks for looking,but on the off chance i went to halfords(ripspeed)and they have a universal mushroom filter with about 5 neck sizes in the box and it fits,so i think my search is over Smile THANKS GUYS/GIRLS.just goes to show allways look close to home first,you never know!!!!!!!

YRV air filter

Your bad luck may be my good luck. I've been looking for ages for a high flow air filter for my YRV 1.3 Premium and never dreamed that Blitz of all companies would do one.

Was the filter Blitz sent you p/n 59554 for the M201G? Could that be the one to fit my car?

Tony you might be in luck it`s the 59554,for the K3-VE 1.3.only problem is i sent it back this morning.But if you give them a call i`m sure they will send it to you...
Got it from FENSPORT PERFORMANCE who are blitz dealers.there number is 01354 696968 or email blitz.co.uk...ask for TIM he sold it to me but i think we got our wires crossed about YRV and YRV turbo....the price was £41.69 inc postage...Hope you get it Smile

Thanks for that Mark. I'd already checked that the filter was available on the Blitz website, at the same price, so will probably get it from there.

I looked for but couldn't see a cleaning and re-oiling kit for the filter on the Blitz site. I'll have to check that out with them.
