Need a new ignition barrell???

Hi,

i have a sportrack that i need to get MOT'ed but it has no key!

Luckly the ignition was left in the acc position, so ive been told i can remove it farley easily.

Cant get hold a sportrack ignition but i can get a fortrack diesel one or a hijet one.

does anyone know if i can use either of these and if so how to do it?? Help

New Keys

New keys are available from Daihatsu dealers, all you need is the lock numbers and they can cut one from that.

To get a lock number you have to remove a door panel and get access to the door locks, on the side is a number. Clean the outside of the lock and record the number, give this to your dealer and they will cut a key for you from this number.
