Copen: K3-VET in K3-VE

As above, I'm looking at getting the 1.3 Copen very soon, but im interested to know whether the K3-VET out of the YRV Turbo will fit? Im guessing it will need a front mount intercooler but is this the only problem i would encounter?

I woul dhave thought that as the engines must be very similar apart from the turbo it would be an easy conversion but i cant find any evidence of anyone doping it.

Don't have anything practical to add, other than I would like to see (and drive) the result of this!

I would guess there may be some torque steer though!

Would be interesting see, although I would have thought the standard gear box/Drive shaft and clutch may not be up-to the task on the COPEN. The K3-VET matted to the YRV has an Autobox to cope with the excessive power according to Daihatsu.
