Heater lights

Hi,

This is probably a minor fix! I was driving along last night happily and the light for the heater controls just died.Cigarette lighter light and all other interior and exterior lights fine. All fuses appear ok.
Is there a bulb behind the controls that i can easily change?

Hi, not sure if it is the same set up but - on the F75 I have it is a single bulb fitted at one end of the strip that provides the lighting and it is a bit of a bu**er to get at.

it will be the same - i did it on mine - pull the control knobs off and use very slim flat blade screwdriver or a small engineers rule etc to prise the panel off - iirc the ends are where it retains - one bulb on the left hand side (std small instrument panel bulb the one without the holders built in - not much spare wire on the socket either. i cleaned and spray greased the heater controls too while it was off

ok got the mechanic to fix

ok got the mechanic to fix it..runny sweet as..did what u said too.

only think is plastic panel are far left end (top) is now extremely hot when ever i have lights on. Should i worry about this? has the mechanic fitted light too close?
