Has any one got a diagram showing the colours of the wires going to the gear box and tranfer box on a 88 Fourtrak.
My 4WD light is on perminent and the reverse kight dont work.
Only just bought it and its had these wires chopped and messed about with.
I need to put it right.
Do you need a reverse light on a 88 model for the mot?

Could not find anything in the m.o.t. manual that says a reversing light in mandatory...go to any m.o.t testing station and ask them if it is..if they say yes ask to see the regulation in print...cos I cant find it ...lol
Reverse Lamps
Just to let you know for sure Reverse lights are not a legal requirment for the MOT test or compulsory under the construction and use regs, but if your truck is like mine you get a lot of road dirt on the back window so you need every bit of light you can get to see behind you at night.
