Forum:
hello once again to all dai maniacs!
based on the below....
http://www.daihatsu-drivers.co.uk/node/4143
can sb help me also for mine yrv 4wd?
i know about viscous but also have heard sth for 4 stage split: 100-0 / 60-40 / 50-50 / 40-60 (fron-rear) based
on the grip conditions....
POWER SPLIT ON YRV 4TRAK
as far as my personal feeling is concerned, when driving
straight or almost straight, it is 2wd and when only/if spinning of front ones occurs, immediate engagement of viscous takes place and leads to 4wd, but in some cases of uphill climbing, e.g. on rocky, gravel terrain or on slippery surfaces with low grip index, i feel like it is splited continuously.....
any opinions / info??
