Roof mounted spotlights for my Sporty

Forum:

Im looking to get some spotlights for my sporty, ive already bought 2 round ones for the bullbars, but im looking to get maybe 4 rectangle lights on the roof.
Im just curious to see how others have fitted them. I was looking at getting a roof bar, or would it be easier to drill into the sunroof? Pics would be very much appreciated for inspiration Smile

roof bar

I went for the roof bar, it looks better, its easier to fit, and there is also no chance of the sunroof leaking. sorry dont have any pics of mine but check these ones out, they look exactly how mine do.

Max Headroom

Hi.

Max Headroom, beware of height restrictions in car park entrances. Many have a 2.2mt limit bar across entrance.

thats a good point

thats a good point, thankfully i haven't had that problem with mine. My lights are fairly slim rectangular ones, which don't seem to be any higher than a roof rack. i guess it will all depend on the type of lights you end up going for, big circular ones will generally catch the bar.
