Most likely a broken spring ot stripped splines on a torsion bar.

On a Sporti it would be the torchien bar, as the front of the Sporti is indipendent. This means it rellies on the twisting of a steel rod for its spring, and not a leaf or coil spring.

It would help others to help you if you indicated in your post, whether Fourtrak, leaf or coil sprung version or is it a Sportrak or even a Terios. along with year.
