What snow???!!!

No snow where I am either,

No snow where I am either, the small amount of snow and ice we had around here is pretty much melted. Seems to be another U.K not prepared for a cold snap. Although from what I saw on the news today I don't fancy living in Aberdeen from the amount of snow they have had.

transformation

Isnt it amazing how a bit of snow and ice transforms 4x4 owners with a winch or a tow strap and a couple of shackles from ozone destroying bye road hogging thugs to wonderful people that you can actually speak to without looking down your nose I have been a very nice person and appreciated by several car drivers owing to local snow and ice. Wonder how long it takes them to forget when the weather breaks.

Lol

Yer quite agree, at least for once its nice to see people with posing 4x4's or AWD's actually using that button on the dash to give them grip (mind you half of 'em have slick tyres!!)

When you are needed. ! ! ! !

Hi.
Last winter we had a heavy fall in the area where i live. I work for a Green organisation, and I ran a shuttle service for the staff as well as pulling their cars to the office ( its out in the sticks, a converted barn)
but then I do run a veg oil mix, (they like this) and I was the hero of the day, because of me they were able to meet a project deadine and get all the data of to HM Gov. And I got them all back to their cars, or got them back on the main highway at the end of the day. Just another day in the life of a decent 4x4 owner. And I got estimated extra milage for all this !!!! a bonus!!!

What snow

Hi.

Today did a run today from Bristol area to Leaminton Spa ,Warwicks, and could not see what the fuss was all about, drove up the Fosse Way though the Cotswolds and saw little snow, roads clear and little on surrounding countryside. Thick fog on the return was the problem, added 30 miniutes to the return trip.

British weather !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Snow

I'm (or my girlfriend in this shot) enjoying 4WD in the snow too. Not so great on ice though

Plenty of snow in the Peak

Plenty of snow in the Peak District, a great days off roading in the snow and evading the last minute rush in the shops.

Snow fun

I've been having fun in both my 4WD vehicles today. I love driving in the snow!

Toyota Master Ace Surf

The Sirion is handling it all quite well though is more prone to being pulled around by the troughs and piles of snow. Ground clearance is sometimes an issue too
