Forum:
when i bought my 93 fourtrak 2.8tdx 4 months ago it was running fine, good acceleration etc.it has been standing for about 2 months while i did work on the body, changed wheels etc.now when i drive it the acceleration is poor and doesnt run as crisp,it seems to have no go in it.i have done nothing to the engine or electrics.
can anyone help with some ideas what is wrong??
what wheels/tyres have you
what wheels/tyres have you put on it
settled dirt???
maybe the fuel side has got a bit bunged up with it being settled for a period....
Full of ideas but no time to do them!!

Look at the turbo wastegate,
Look at the turbo wastegate, it may be partially seized or sticking slightly open.
Fuel sludged.
Remove and fit a new fuel filter. It might have sludged up whilst standing.
Also check if the air filter is clean - might be worh replacing it at the same time.
If that fails then you will need to blow the fuel pipes or even clean out the fuel tank. Do not blow the fuel pipes onto a warm or hot engine!
