I need a name!!!
Was prompted by reading one of the posts and also having a few ppl in the past couple of months asking what it's name is, and I have to confess that I haven't been able to think of one. Can't even decide on its sex!

Names
Well its obviously female, 'cos you spend more time and money on it than you can afford, and you get nothing in return except maybe a few admiring glances!
Can't help with the name though, thats far too personal a thing!

Ok cool my Sportrak is now female. But no name yet. At the moment I am thinking of a name which would suit a lady of the night as I have a Midnight Edition... Grr or maybe after a female who kills vampires at night... Oh I dunnO!!

mine has been delilah from day one, it does sport a pink cb twig and i do have a knack of finding "gay" bars in dingey back streets in europe, not sure what that tells you!!!!!
Car names
The 4trak is called the Tonka.
The black fiesta diesel is called the Black Beast ... cos it's f... horrible.
The maestro van is just called the van .... cos it isn't worth calling it anything!
Some other vehicles I have owned were named. The first car I had was a Ford Escort Mk1 which was called 'Fred', because the bikers I knew thought I was getting soft and started driving a shed. Fred's full name was therefore 'Fred the Shed'.
Talking of bikes, the 750 Commando was called 'Nogbad', after 'Nogbad the Nog' in the kids cartoon of many years ago.
Naming things isn't only for vehicles. An old chap at the boatyard asked me why my dinghy was called 'Piglet'. When I told him,
"you stand on it in the wrong place, you'll find out why", he said that it was good name.
For landlubbers, if you stand on it quickly a bit too close to the edge, it will tip up and dump you in the water. When it did this to me for the first time, I called it a 'f...ing piglet', so the name stuck!
Names
I do name some things. I have given all my computers names which currently I have Bertha (main PC), Thomas (family PC), Wizbit (Laptop), Zippy (Apple iBook), and thought its not a computer its my router which is called Fraggle.
It is trying to decide what name would suit my Sporty.

I'm probably sad but mine is called 'Beanie' as you can see from the picture in the Image Galleries.
But I think all vehicles need a name as then you know who to shout at when you breakdown!! I used to blame the missus for breakdowns... oooops
