Hi can any one help with my cooling system. I've just had an engine change and I have oil from the old engine in my water system I flushed the system using detergent, most of the oil is gone but I still get a tiny bit of residue at the radiator cap. I changed the thermostat ant rad cap. The problem I have is no matter how many times I drain and bleed the system I cant get hot water in the rad or hot air in the cab. Is there any form of spec sheet or diagram of the water system I can get my hands on to see fi things are routed right. If any one could help me with this I would be grateful. Dave
Go to somewhere such as Serck
Go to somewhere such as Serck Marston and get a professional cooling system cleaner and use this, follow the instructions to the letter as this stuff is potent and if you leave it in too long you won't have an engine left.
Buddy... you so need to get a
Buddy... you so need to get a professional hand, if the problem is persisting or keep coming back, its better to diagnose it with the professional's help.
No, just get their cleaner
No, just get their cleaner and follow the instructions top the letter, this will clean everything from the cooling system and give you a clean system to diagnose from.
With a clean system you will soon determine if it is just residue from the engine change, or if it returns you know you have a slight oil leak into the cooling system.
