Forum:
i seem to be getting a bit damp! my main suspicion is the quality of seal around the boot door, however.. i`ve adjusted the hinges and the catch to bring it in as close as possible, but the carpets are still getting soggy.
does anyone know any other common leak points other than the grommit on the passenger side floor?
..how to solve the boot seal problem would also be of interest! lol,
Heater leaking?
The heater could be leaking - drips onto the carpet and soaks the floor. Look around the heater matrix and feel if its wet.
wow.. that was quick!
thanks for the rapid replys! a lot of forums are too busy telling each other about how big their tyres are to help out!
>have removed carpets and checked a few of the more obvious grommits.. the front seems to be dry, so its draught excluder time!
will keep you updated!

To help seal around the rear
To help seal around the rear door, buy some self adhesive window and door draught excluder. Apply this to the door jamb where the seal normally meets. Hopefully, this will close any gaps, and seal your door. As for wet carpets in the front, check the firewall grommets for correct sealing.
