wheel spacers for a fourtrak

Forum:

Hi, Am thinking on getting some of these wheel spacers from ebay, as my left hand Tyre rubs on leaf spring on full lock, and thought this may be the simplest way of curing the problem and preventing it happening in the future. Has any one any experience of fitting these things Unknw are they any good Unknw would i have to fit some kind of longer studs to accomodate? can that be done?
Does anyone else have this many probs with their darned fourtrak?? or is it just me ???

rubbing

the rubbing could be because the bump stop has fallen off or needs ajusting take a look if it has iv got a bump stop you can hav for 5 quid if you want it. check it out and let me know, it could be a cheeper option.
hope this helps

Wheel spacers for fourtrak

there are travel stops fitted, these can be screwed out which will stop the wheel rubbing

Our Fourtraks

Hi there again
you are funny you sound just like me & so does your Foutrak. Not only do we both have the clunky gears but I have a tyre rub problem on full lock with my left wheel. In my case it turned out to be the wrong tyres were on it which were 265/70.15. I was told it should be 235/75.15 which solved my problem.
