Just about to collect first Rocky - sooooo excited ! Why is the insurance so expensive ??? Not planning on off-roading tho do live in the sticks. Any advice as to where to get a good deal ??

Try Roadsure. They do specialist 4x4 insurance. It's also cheaper if this is a second car doing limited milage, as their 4x4 cover starts low but has no no claims discount.
It cost my 26 year old freind £400 fully comp. for her jacked up, roll caged, winch attached, janspeed exuhsted, etc Suzi 413. And she had never had insurance in her name befor. The cheepest quot befor that one was £700 +.

I have mine insured through the Post Office , yes the post office £160 fully comp.I do have full no claims ,im 35 , 3 points and my wife is on the policy .A lot better than the other quotes i had .
